Dear parents
Welcome back to a brand new term at Little Mandarins!
We are pleased to announce our semester 2, 2011-2012 starts on Monday, 9 Jan 2012.
The term duration is from 9 Jan to 13 Apr 2012.
Unless otherwise notified, your child’s timeslot remains unchanged.
You may contact either Jaime (tel 64737249) or Xindy (tel 6473 8377) to check your child’s class.
For students using the following series of books, please bring the relevant topic when term starts :
Pink series book “Different Shapes” - the cover shows a Christmas tree.
Green series book “Shapes” - the cover shows a boy looking at different shapes.
Blue series book “The Robot” – the cover shows a robot face.
Note: Books are only applicable to students attending Foundation I, II and III levels.
For new students or students who have been informed of advancement to the next set of books, please collect your books from the office on your first lesson.

Our Mums & Tots class for next semester is now open for registration. Register early to secure a place for you and your child!
Programme: Mums & Tots (for children from 20 to 33 months)
For bonding and learning through music and movement in Mandarin!
One hour of music & drama, arts & crafts
*Tot can be accompanied by any one adult

Day & time: Tuesdays, 9.45 to 10.45 am and/or Thursdays, 9.45 to 10.45 am

‘Around The World In A Week’ Holiday Camp

Dear parents,
This year-end holiday, we are really excited to present to you our “Around the World in a Week” camp.
Due to overwhelming requests, we will also be covering different parts of China every week. Our exciting programmes incorporate arts, crafts, poems, science experiments, storytelling, music & movement, drama, etc. to bring out the sights & sounds of each of the featured destinations.
Campers will learn about the rich cultures, festivals, food and places of interests of the countries. Our innovative games & activities aim to enhance campers’ speaking and listening capabilities.
Feel free to contact us for more details. There are discount schemes for siblings, and group of 3 signups. So, spread the word around and join us all in this exciting magical journey of travel!

We will be moving on to the next topic / book with effect from next Monday (31st Oct 2011).
Please ensure your child bring the relevant book.
Pink series book “My Family” – the cover shows a woman wearing a pink hair band and a little boy standing next to her.
Green series book “I Love My Family“ - the cover shows a couple holding a toddler, surrounded by a few children.
Blue series book “Happy Family“ – the cover shows a grandmother surrounded by 3 children.
Do ensure your child write his / her name on the book to prevent mix up.

Green series book “My Favourite Toy” - the cover shows a teddy bear, robot and some building blocks.
Blue series book “Our Toys” – the cover shows a girl holding an electronic game and a boy holding a red car.
Do ensure your child write his / her name on the book to prevent mix up.
