Dear parents

We are starting on the next topic / book with effect from Monday (13 May).

Please ensure your child bring the relevant book to class.

Foundation I / II (Basic):

Pink series book  ”Guess What?” – the cover shows a sleeping pig.

Foundation II (Advanced):

Green series book  ”The Zoo”  -  the cover shows elephants and giraffes in the background.

Foundation III:

Blue series book  ”Ability of Animals”  - the cover shows an elephant, lion, giraffe, eagle, etc.

Do ensure your child write his / her name on the book to prevent mix up.

Dear parents,

All classes ongoing as usual this week.

The new term duration is from 15 Apr to 28 Jun 2013.

Unless otherwise notified, your child’s timeslot remains unchanged.

You may contact our office at Tel 6473 8377 or 6473 7249 to check your child’s class.

For students using the following series of books, please bring the relevant topic next week:

Pink series book  ”The Weather”  -  the cover shows a sunny day and a rainy day.

Green series book  ”Lovely Weather”  -  the cover shows a boy reading and raindrops in the background.

Blue series book  ”The Blue Sky”  - the cover shows a family watching television and white clouds in the background.

Note:  Books are only applicable to students attending Foundation I, II and III levels.

For new students or students who have been informed of advancement to the next set of books, please collect your books from the office on your first lesson.

Dear Parents,

As you are aware, the economic climate has been very difficult these few years. Despite steep increases in operating, rental and employment costs, we have kept most of our fees unchanged for the last 5-6 years, without compromising the high quality of teaching at Little Mandarins.

Since we started operations in Dempsey in 2007, we have seen many of our students move up the levels. Watching them develop into confident Mandarin speakers has been a major motivation for us all at Little Mandarins. However, it is critical that we sustain our ability to offer the very best to all our students and thus, we would need to adjust our fees with effect from next term to help defray some of our increased costs.

Lesson Fees :  Increase by $2 per lesson for all levels
Materials :  Increase by $1 to $26 per term
GST : 7%  absorbed
All other fees remain unchanged.  Please refer to our fees section for the updated pricing.

In appreciation of your valuable support, we are pleased to announce a discount scheme for siblings.
2nd child = 5% discount on lesson fees
3rd child = 10% discount on lesson fees

We do understand that any fee increase is stressful. However, we want to assure you that the quality of teaching and our small class size remain the key priority for us and we will not compromise on these promises to you. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.
